JASON PRICE
Graduated: Fall 2001
Jason Price has worked at the Oklahoma Department
of Rehabilitative Services since 1999. Jason relied
on public transportation to commute back-and-forth
to the office. In the fall of 2001, Jason put aside
his anxiety of driving and went through the driving
program at the University of Central Oklahoma. |

HOW DRIVING HAS CHANGED HIS
LIFE:
Jason said he feels more like a "whole person"
because he now has the same options that everyone else
has about getting around. He's no longer dependent on
others for rides.
WHAT HE SAYS ABOUT THE PROGRAM:
As far as Jason Price is concerned, John McGivern - the
program's director - IS the program. John's 25+ years
of experience make him an incredible resource. But what
really makes the program great, according to Jason, is
John's true desire to help disabled people gain their
independence. "John never once gave up on me",
says Jason, "and he kept me motivated when I questioned
myself."
Jason highly recommends this program to anyone truly wanting
to gain personal independence.
