The
Dan Lutz Rehabilitative Driving Program (formerly
the Oklahoma Center for Rehabilitative Driving Services)
is located on the campus of the University of Central
Oklahoma (UCO) in Edmond, Oklahoma. The program
offers driver training, assessment, and evaluation
services. Over 2,000 individuals with disabilities
have been taught to drive since the program's inception
33 years ago.
Undoubtedly the most valuable asset for the program
is its director, John McGivern. John has been involved
with the program for 25 years and is an expert in
his field. He is considered not only the best driving
instructor for this speciality in the state, but
the best in this region of the country, as well.

| The Dan Lutz Rehabilitative
Driving Program has many success stories - Dan being just one
of them. Over the last ten years, the program proudly reports
that 95% of all graduates go on to receive their driver's licenses.
These individuals with disabilities would otherwise rely on
others for transportation, but through this program, they gain
independence, employment, and enhance their self-esteem. |
