Todd
Griffin
4045 NW 64th, Suite 600
Oklahoma City, OK 73116
(405) 848-0100
Todd.Griffin@citcomm.com
Todd works as the business manager for Citadel
Communications in Oklahoma City. He has
served in this capacity for nearly eight years.
Citadel is a large communications company and
holds five radio stations in the Oklahoma City
market, including KATT, KYIS, KKWD, WWLS, and
KQBL. Prior to working at Citadel Communications,
Todd worked as a loan officer at the Oklahoma
Employees Credit Union.
Todd met Dan through his work. Dan was also
an employee at Citadel Communications in Oklahoma
City. When asked why he donates his time
to acting on the board of directors, Todd says,
“Throughout life we all have idols that we are
only able to admire from afar. I had the
pleasure of working with one of mine for four
years – Dan Lutz. I have never personally
interacted with an individual who had more courage
than Dan. He was a hero in the true sense
of the word. It is an honor to help continue
the work that was so important to Dan.”

Debra
Lutz Stutzman
Yukon, OK 73099
(405) 354-6095
DebraLutzOKC@aol.com
Debra Lutz Stutzman is a sister to the late
Dan Lutz. In her most recent position, Debra
was the Web Education Manager for AOL Time Warner
in the Oklahoma City offices. She worked
there for nearly six years.
Debra has earned a Bachelor of Science in Business
Administration from Montana State University in
Billings, Montana (1987); a Master of Business
Administration from the University of Oklahoma
(1994); and completed all her coursework for a
PhD in Education from the University of Oklahoma
specializing in Instructional Psychology and Technology.
As a sibling, Debra watched Dan grow from a shy
and insecure young disabled man afraid to go out
into the world to compete for jobs with able-bodied
individuals to a confident and successful local
celebrity who was well-respected by all who knew
him.
Dan never used his disability as a means for “getting
something” when many times he could have.
Debra says “Dan always led by example, in both
his professional and personal lives. He
had wisdom beyond his years and his biggest dream
was to help others and he wanted to start by giving
back to the driving program that gave him his
independence. I’m working on the board so
Dan’s dream comes to pass and he continues to
inspire and make a difference in the lives of
others – even beyond his untimely death.”

John
McGivern
University of Central Oklahoma
100 N University Drive
Edmond, OK 73034
(405) 575-0147 (pager)
John started working at the University of Central
Oklahoma 25 years ago as an assistant football
coach and offensive coordinator for the UCO Broncos.
During that same time, he was also responsible
for teaching health and physical education classes.
During the summers, John was an instructor at
the Oklahoma Center for Rehabilitative Driving
Services teaching people with disabilities to
drive. Since 1989, John has been the director
of this driving program - now known as the Dan
Lutz Rehabilitative Driving Program.
John earned a Business of Arts degree in education
from UCO (1973) and a Master in Education also
from UCO (1975).
John has been serving the community of people
with disabilities for most of his life. It was
through this service, that he met Dan Lutz. John
taught Dan how to drive a large van equipped with
assistive devices John was a "Dan fan" prior to
meeting Dan, as he had heard Dan on the radio
for several years in the Oklahoma City market.
Quickly, Dan became a huge "John fan" and he and
Dan became very close personal friends.
John says, "I am dedicated to the Dan Lutz Rehab
Fund and what it stands for. I know that Dan understood
the challenges faced by all individuals with disabilities
and the importance that driving plays in giving
them independence. I'm working with the Dan Lutz
Rehab Fund to fulfill the dreams that Dan had
for helping others with disabilities."
